Bay Area ADAS Calibration

Took my 2020 Model Y in for a front-end noise and Rob and the team were fantastic start to finish. They did a full multi-point inspection, sent me photos of every issue with arrows and circles so I could actually see what was wrong, and clearly explained the diagnosis (torn lower control arm bushings, both sides). What sold me: they told me the upper control arm would eventually need doing but wasn't there yet, and flat-out said they didn't want me spending money that didn't need spending. A shop that talks you OUT of work is a shop you keep. Honest pricing, quality parts, no upsell, and they even caught a sidewall issue on a tire I hadn't noticed. If you've got a Tesla in the East Bay and don't want to deal with the service center, this is your spot. Found my new go-to.

Ive had a ton of vehicles and Ive been to every dealership and lost count of how many auto repair shops Ive used over the years. I can honestly say Ive never had confidence that what I was told was absolute truth until I brought a vehicle to tech zone auto. Family owned honest fair and rare. If you have an issue and want to know that youre getting the best honest service, you bring your car vehicle here. I will never send one of my vehicles to another mechanic and neither should you.

I could not possibly say enough wonderful things about my experience with TechZone. I took my car in to have a problem with the pre-collision system looked at. When I arrived, Rob came out to meet me and was highly professional, courteous, and knowledgable. He was very up front with all of the information as he walked me through the steps of how my car would be worked on. The scan on my car happened quickly and although the shop was ultimately unable to complete a repair due to a much larger issue coming to light, Rob took the time to show me what he saw under the hood, walk me through everything in clear detail, answer my questions, and give a recommendation for a body shop that would be able to address what he could not. There was not a moment where I felt lost or not listened to. I appreciate the honesty, transparency, and high level of customer service I received, even though no work was done on my car at the time. I can tell these guys love doing what they do and take pride in their work by the way they are open and willing to have conversations about their work. Thank you!

Brought my old truck in for an alignment and they did a great job. Not only did they make the drivability much better, but they also did an inspection of related parts and let me know what needs to be done, even knowing I do the work myself. Once I complete the recommended work, I will definitely be returning to have them perform and alignment again. I appreciate the friendliness, expertise, and knowledge of the shop.

Exceptional specialty shop. Came here for an otherwise difficult Audi ADAS camera recalibration after a windshield replacement; it wouldn't have been possible for most techs. Rob and team took care of it on time and on budget, and the ADAS systems worked better afterward than they did from the factory. Learned that they do precision alignment as well, which I'd happily return for. Clear commitment to accuracy and professionalism here.

Honestly, the most knowledgeable shop I have taken a car/truck to. They take time to explain everything and also understand the specifics about each set up, not just one size fits all. Also, they send you a link with pictures, updates, and diagnostics from your service there. Can even pay online too! 10/10! Would definitely recommend and will go back!
