I came into Tech Zone to remove some dealer after market device and clean up the loose wire harness from the dealer install. After discussing my options (without any upsell) they removed the loose connections, dressed up the underside of my dash, and put everything back together. They kept me informed each step of the way and provided me with photos of the work. Rarely does a service center document their work and even straighten dash panels which I thought I would have to just live with. Brand new truck with a sloppy add on now looks factory perfect.

Rob was such a great person to work with and so easy to talk to. I reached out to TechZone after a really frustrating experience at the dealership, and even though it’s an hour’s drive from me, I was completely willing to bring my car there because I trusted him that much just from our conversations. The whole situation had been so stressful, but talking to Rob made everything feel so much clearer and more under control. He was always responsive, patient with all my questions, very transparent, and clearly knowledgeable about what he does. The issue ended up resolving itself before I brought the car in, but he was professional and helpful the whole way through. I’m so glad I found this shop, and if I ever have car issues in the future, they’ll be the first place I go!

Rob was the BEST!! It was Friday afternoon and he couldnt promise completing the replacement of the bash cluster unit on our 2009 Prius! Not only did he complete it, and saved the weekend, Rob was courtesy, professional and honest!

Took my 2020 Model Y in for a front-end noise and Rob and the team were fantastic start to finish. They did a full multi-point inspection, sent me photos of every issue with arrows and circles so I could actually see what was wrong, and clearly explained the diagnosis (torn lower control arm bushings, both sides). What sold me: they told me the upper control arm would eventually need doing but wasn't there yet, and flat-out said they didn't want me spending money that didn't need spending. A shop that talks you OUT of work is a shop you keep. Honest pricing, quality parts, no upsell, and they even caught a sidewall issue on a tire I hadn't noticed. If you've got a Tesla in the East Bay and don't want to deal with the service center, this is your spot. Found my new go-to.

These guys are great. From Rob to Matt and everyone else on their team. Very knowledgeable about updated systems in vehicles and accommodating when you need work completed. They have a level of experience that is not seen most any where else. I trust them with my vehicles when in need of their expertise.

Ive had a ton of vehicles and Ive been to every dealership and lost count of how many auto repair shops Ive used over the years. I can honestly say Ive never had confidence that what I was told was absolute truth until I brought a vehicle to tech zone auto. Family owned honest fair and rare. If you have an issue and want to know that youre getting the best honest service, you bring your car vehicle here. I will never send one of my vehicles to another mechanic and neither should you.

I could not possibly say enough wonderful things about my experience with TechZone. I took my car in to have a problem with the pre-collision system looked at. When I arrived, Rob came out to meet me and was highly professional, courteous, and knowledgable. He was very up front with all of the information as he walked me through the steps of how my car would be worked on. The scan on my car happened quickly and although the shop was ultimately unable to complete a repair due to a much larger issue coming to light, Rob took the time to show me what he saw under the hood, walk me through everything in clear detail, answer my questions, and give a recommendation for a body shop that would be able to address what he could not. There was not a moment where I felt lost or not listened to. I appreciate the honesty, transparency, and high level of customer service I received, even though no work was done on my car at the time. I can tell these guys love doing what they do and take pride in their work by the way they are open and willing to have conversations about their work. Thank you!
