Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Keep Assist (LKA) utilize a forward-facing camera, typically positioned near the rearview mirror, to detect lane markings and maintain vehicle centering. When functioning correctly, these systems are unobtrusive; however, malfunctions can have severe consequences. Thus, proper calibration of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) is critical for safety. Calibration involves accurately aligning the camera and sensors to ensure they perceive the road as intended by the manufacturer.
